I edit long-form video for finance and business channels on YouTube. You send the footage, the script and whatever B-roll you have, and you get back a cut that follows the script rather than fighting it. What that means in practice: pacing that does not lose people in the first thirty seconds, on-screen text where a number needs to be read rather than heard, and sound that does not need fixing after upload. I build a small library of your own lower thirds and transitions in the first month so the channel starts looking like itself instead of like a template. I have been doing this full time for seven years, almost all of it for channels in the same two or three subjects, which is the reason I can usually tell from the script where an edit is going to drag. I work Manila hours with an early start, so there is normally four or five hours of overlap with the US east coast. Revisions come back the same day if they arrive before the afternoon.
