Faceless channels, mostly finance and true crime. Script, stock, voiceover in, finished video out. Those two niches are more alike than they look. Both are somebody being told a story they cannot see, so the whole job is holding attention with pacing, sound and what appears on screen at the moment a fact lands. I write my own B-roll list from the script before I open the timeline, which is the part most people skip and the reason a lot of faceless video feels like a slideshow. I take projects rather than a retainer, about twenty hours in a normal week.
