I edit long-form video for finance and business YouTube channels. You send the footage and the script; I send back a cut, then a second one after your notes. I have been doing this full time for two years and almost all of it has been the same kind of channel, which is long enough to know where these videos usually lose people: the intro that takes ninety seconds to say what it is, the chart that appears three sentences after it was needed, the section that should have been forty per cent shorter. I do my own captions and my own sound. I do not do thumbnails, and I would rather say so than deliver something average.
