I do the research and the first draft. Briefs, outlines, interview notes written up properly, and the long boring hunt for the source that actually says what everybody claims it says. Most of my work is for small content teams who have a writer and no time. I take a topic, come back with an outline and the material behind it, and either hand that over or write the draft myself depending on what you need. I am careful about sources. If I could not find one, the sentence does not go in, and I will tell you which claim I could not stand up rather than leaving it in and hoping.
