No monitoring, ever
No screenshots. No keystroke logging. No activity score. No camera. Not optional, not a setting, not planned.
Hours here exist because a freelancer wrote them down and you agreed the week looked right. That is the whole mechanism, and it is a commitment rather than an omission.
Approval is per week
You approve a week, not fifteen individual entries. The conversation is "does this week look right", and per-entry approval would let you approve eleven of thirteen entries, which is not a state either of you could act on.
What a client sees
Nothing until the freelancer submits. A draft week is their scratchpad, and it is invisible to you by policy rather than by the interface choosing not to show it.
Once submitted you get the week with every entry: the date, the times, the time zone the times were written in, and any reference they added. You approve it, or you request changes with a note.
You never edit an entry. Approve, or say what needs changing. Editing somebody's record of their own work is not a thing this product lets you do.
Approval is final in the current version. There is no un-approve.
Both clocks
Every entry shows the freelancer's own time and the same interval in yours. An entry stores the local time and the zone it was written in rather than an instant, so a daylight-saving change later cannot silently move hours you already agreed.
