Saving and comparing

Folders, private notes, and the side-by-side table.

Saving is free. So is everything on this page.

Saving

The bookmark on a card or a profile asks where to put it. That is two clicks rather than one, deliberately: folders existed for a long time and almost nobody used them, because filing happened on a different screen, later, behind a dropdown most people never scrolled to. Asking at the moment you save is what makes them real.

"New folder" creates and saves in one go. Pressing the folder you are already in closes the dialog and writes nothing.

Private notes

Every saved person can carry a note. It is a proper note with its own life: it survives unsaving, and it does not disappear when you move somebody between folders.

A note is visible to your whole team, and the panel says so. It has always been readable by every seat on the account; what changed is that we stopped implying otherwise. The freelancer it is about can never see it, on any plan, by any route.

Comparing

Turn on Compare in the header of the saved list, pick up to four people, and open the table. The selection becomes part of the URL, so the comparison is refreshable and shareable with a colleague rather than trapped in a modal.

The table marks the strongest cell in each row independently, and it will never produce an overall winner. Ranking people for money on a rubric nobody agreed to, out of numbers that measure different things, is not something this product is going to do.

Three rows are deliberately unscored: headline, rate and your note. A cheaper rate is not a better person.

Rows can be switched off with the picker, and which ones are off travels in the URL, named as what is hidden, so a link written before a row existed keeps working.

What is not on it

Reply times. We measure them, and they are shown to no client anywhere: a median published to the people somebody is trying to be hired by is a character reference, and the measurement's own bias runs the wrong way, since a message nobody answered never counts.

Ask an assistant about this

Copies this page plus a short note about what RemoteHire.ph is, so the answer is about this product rather than about hiring platforms in general. Every button copies the same text.
