Your profile score

A number out of 100 that measures how complete and how established your profile is. It is not a rating of your work, and nothing a client does can lower it.

The four tiers

• Foundations: the things a profile needs to be worth reading: a photo, a

headline, a bio, a rate, hours, an address, at least one skill, tool and industry.

• Identity: the ID check, a confirmed email, a Philippine phone number.
• Depth: everything that shows how you work: a video, work samples, links,

the tests, your history, your languages. Held until your ID check passes, and then paid in full.

• Working with clients: points only a client can cause: a first hire, a

collaboration passing thirty days, a second client, a confirmed paid invoice.

The two ceilings, and why they exist

On your own you can reach 80. The last tier needs a client, so nobody reaches 100 by filling in forms.

Without an ID check you can reach 35. The whole of the Depth tier is banked rather than paid until then, which is what makes the check worth doing even for somebody with a complete profile.

What it is used for

Clients can sort by it, and it renders as a ring around your photograph on in-app surfaces. A client can turn scores off entirely for their own account, in which case the verified mark takes the ring's place.

Publishing does not depend on it: publishing has its own list of requirements, and a profile can be publishable at 40 and unpublishable at 60. Those are different questions and the product keeps them separate.

Improving it

The Improve tab lists every item you have not earned, worth the most first, and each one links to the section of your profile that earns it. Every one of those links goes somewhere real.

Things that move on their own

A few items change with the clock rather than because you did something: a confirmed email, a collaboration crossing thirty days, the ninety-day reply window, and your eighteenth birthday. Those are recalculated overnight, so answering a client quickly may take until the next day to show.

History

The History tab shows every change, what caused it, and how much each item moved. If the rubric itself changes, that shows there too, per item, rather than as a total that moved with nothing to attribute it to.
