Plans and pricing
What Free includes, what Premium adds, the two billing intervals, and what happens when a plan ends.
There is one paid plan, it is flat, and freelancers never pay for anything.
Free
A free client account is a real account, not a trial. It gets:
- the whole directory, with every filter and sort
- saved lists and folders, and private notes on people you are considering
- the comparison table
- writing a job post and previewing it
What it does not get is contact: you cannot see an email address, a phone number, a surname or a link URL, you cannot start a conversation, and you cannot publish a job so freelancers can apply to it.
Premium
Premium unlocks contact and everything downstream of it: messaging, publishing jobs, inviting somebody to apply, arranging calls, offering work, contracts, approving hours and invoicing. One subscription covers up to five people on one account, at no extra cost per person. See team seats.
It is billed monthly or yearly. Both figures are on the pricing page, which is the one place they are written down, so it is always right.
What is never charged for
We take no commission and no percentage. Hiring one person or ten costs the same, and paying somebody more costs the same as paying them less. We are not part of the payment at all: see invoices and paying.
When a Premium plan ends
Nothing is deleted, and that is the design rather than a courtesy.
- Messages, hours, invoices and analytics become locked sections. They are
still there, they still say what they always said, and you cannot open them.
- Contact details re-blur, exactly as they were before you subscribed.
- Published jobs read as paused. They keep their URL and show a calm state
rather than a 404 to anybody who was sent the link, and they stop taking applications.
- Signed contracts stay readable and downloadable. A contract is a document
both parties keep, and taking that away would be taking away something you already have.
Renewing restores all of it with no action from you and no writes anywhere: the locked state is derived from the subscription rather than stored, so there is nothing to put back.
Changing or cancelling
Both happen in Settings, under Billing, through the payment provider's own portal. A downgrade takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for rather than immediately with a refund. See billing.
