Inviting freelancers

The referral program: your link, when a referral counts, and how payouts work.

1 min read

A limited-time program

From time to time we run a referral program: you invite other Filipino freelancers, and when they join properly we send you a small thank-you in pesos. It runs for a limited time. While it is running you will find Invite freelancers in your sidebar; when it is not, the page is not there.

The reward per person and the maximum you can earn are shown at the top of your Invite freelancers page. They belong to the program that is running, so that page is always the place to check, not this article.

Getting your link

Invite links are for freelancers whose ID is verified. If yours is not yet, the page sends you to verification first. Once it is, your link is waiting for you, with buttons to share it on WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber, Facebook, Telegram, X or by email, and a message you can edit before you send it.

The person who opens your link sees that you invited them, and a button to create their free profile. If they come back later on the same device, the invite is remembered for 30 days.

When a referral counts

A referral counts when the person you invited has done three things:

On this page

  • A limited-time program
  • Getting your link
  • When a referral counts
  • Getting paid
  • When the program ends

Freelancers never pay. We never take a cut of salaries.

    1. signed up as a freelancer through your link
    2. had their ID verified
    3. published their profile

The reward is added to your balance the moment the last of those happens, and you get a notification. Until then your page shows each person with the steps they still have to take, so you know who could use a friendly nudge.

Only new freelancer accounts count. A second account of your own, or an account somebody already had, does not. We review every referral before paying, and if one is not counted you will see the reason on your page.

    Getting paid

Payouts are sent by hand, once a month around the 1st, through Wise. You qualify for a payout once you have at least five counted referrals that have not been paid yet.

When you reach that point, your page asks where to send the money: a Wise account, a bank account in the Philippines, or GCash. The payout always goes to the name on your verified ID, so you never type a name. Your details are seen only by you and the team that sends payouts.

Every payout we send appears on your page and arrives as an email.

    When the program ends

When a program ends, your link stops bringing in new referrals. People who already signed up through it still count when they verify and publish, and whatever is left in your balance is paid in one final payout, even if it is fewer than five.

    Ask an assistant about this

Copies this page plus a short note about what RemoteHire.ph is, so the answer is about this product rather than about hiring platforms in general. Every button copies the same text; most of them open the assistant with it already asked.

Gemini has no way to receive the question in a link, so that one copies and opens for you to paste.
